First of all, I want
to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving His life that
each and every one of us can have a choice to make Heaven our home. I
know had it not been for him, there would be no hope for us. I am so
grateful for the opportunity and ability to spread the message of
Jesus in song.
I was fortunate
enough to be taken to church ALL my life. I can truly say my parents
set a true Christian example. I can remember riding the bus with Mom
and Dad when I was very young. It was at that time the desire to
travel and sing was etched in my heart. Now that I have children of my
own, Corey, Jacob, & Caleb, they are getting to have those same
experiences.
Corey is our first
special boy. Sometime in the initial months after he was born, his
brain failed to make an important chemical. Therefore, it began to
“short circuit” and caused him seizures. Doctors were unsure of what
his outcome would be, but praise the Lord Corey is healthy and well.
It is amazing to see how God has used our Corey in such special ways.
Jacob is next in
line. The Lord has blessed him with pure musical talent. He now has a
repertoire of songs he sings, including a concert favorites “Anchor of
Hope” and “Showers of Blessings”. Jacob also plays the drums and is
learning to play the bass guitar. Jacob is setting a wonderful example
for children as he witnesses for Christ.
Caleb is last in
line, but not least. He is also coming right along in the talent
department. He loves to help load-in and load-out after a concert. I
am so proud of Caleb and his willingness to help us where ever we need
him. He is also a great witness to children. Caleb is honing his
talents on the guitar and mandolin.
I would also like to
introduce you to my husband, Jason. His is a wonderful attribute to
our ministry. He is so supportive and I am so thankful for everything
he does for me as well as the group. Jason helps load-in and load-out
and it is great to look from the stage and see your spouse and
children there. He is truly sent by God. Thanks Jason, I love you.
